Meet Jimmy Callaway
Jimmy was raised on a farm in Kent County and has lived here all his life.
In fact, he is a 4th generation resident and graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1976.
He left the farm at the age of 18 and has worked for the railroad, as a general manager for a chemical company, and is now a small business owner in Kent County.

My father, Nyle (Soupy) Callaway, and mother, Lillian Callaway, raised 7 children of their own as well as took in a set of twins who became brothers to me. I had the good fortune to be raised by wonderful parents who taught us many things through their example. I honor them by living my life striving to exemplify compassion, caring and love in everything I do. I have tried to raise my children the same way. I have a son who is a union electrician, a son who works in education, a daughter who works with me in construction, a step-daughter in North Carolina who works in health care and a step-son who attends the University Of Delaware studying Sports Health. I also have 7 grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Lisa and I are lucky to have such wonderful children. So not only do I have a history in Kent County, but I have a vested interest in Kent County's future. This, among other reasons, is why running for Levy Court has become so important to me.
